Sound familiar?

  • Waking up stiff and sore through the lower back.
  • A nagging knot between your shoulder blades that never quite goes.
  • A neck that tightens up by the end of the workday.
  • Backing off training because something hurts.
  • You’ve rested, stretched and tried a few things, and it keeps coming back.

I treat the person, not a routine.

Every session combines hands-on treatment with a look at how you move, so the work targets what is actually limiting you, and you leave knowing what to do next.

Techniques used, depending on what you need:

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Dry needling
  • Cupping
  • Muscle scraping
  • Exercise rehabilitation

Chris Di Losa assessing a client’s neck and shoulder posture

Hi, I’m Chris.

I know how frustrating it is to be sore, stiff or held back from the things you enjoy. I train in the gym, run, and play football and tennis, so I’ve had to work through pain and restriction myself.

I also know too well what it’s like working at a desk: the tight neck, sore lower back and stiff shoulders that come with long days sitting. Those common aches and pains are ones I’ve felt myself.

That’s why I take the time to listen, work out what’s behind it, and treat the person, not a routine. My job is to support your journey with hands-on treatment, honest advice and a plan you can stick to.

FAQs

What happens in my first session?

I talk through your history and goals, assess how you move, then treat. I’ll give you exercise or self-management guidance to take away.

What types of clients do you see?

I see everyday people, desk workers, runners, gym-goers and weekend athletes in Rouse Hill and the surrounding areas who want remedial massage for muscle and joint pain or stiffness. Common reasons people book include:

  • Low back pain and stiffness
  • Neck pain and tightness
  • Shoulder pain and tension
  • Upper back and shoulder blade pain
  • Tension headaches and jaw tightness
  • Sciatica-type buttock and leg pain
  • Hip tightness and glute pain
  • Hamstring, quad and groin strains
  • Calf tightness, tight Achilles and shin pain (shin splints)
  • Knee pain, including runner’s knee and IT band tightness
  • Foot and heel pain (e.g. plantar fasciitis)
  • Tennis and golfer’s elbow, wrist and forearm tension
  • Rotator cuff and shoulder niggles
  • Muscle strains, overuse and sports injuries
  • Desk posture aches, “tech neck” and hips stiff from sitting
  • Gym and training soreness, muscle tightness and trigger points
  • Running and endurance training load
  • Reduced range of motion and movement restrictions

These are common reasons people book. Massage isn’t a substitute for a medical diagnosis, so if something needs a doctor or another health professional, I’ll let you know.

How should I prepare?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and tell me about any injuries, medical conditions or medications before I start.

Can I claim on private health?

Eligible clients may be able to claim remedial massage. Rebates depend on your fund and level of cover, so check with them first.

How do I book or change a time?

Use the booking buttons above. For other times, or to change an appointment, just text me.

Is massage a replacement for seeing a doctor?

No. If your pain is severe, sudden or follows a significant injury, see a doctor first. I’ll also let you know if I think something should be checked before treating you.
